WHO WE ARE
Our Roots
Here at Alec Flores Youth Sports Scholarship Corporation, we want to give the joy of sports to kids - so they can try something new or compete at a high level and travel to different events. We believe participation in sports helps kids grow healthy minds and bodies, and teaches them how to work with others, learn how to win with grace and accept defeat without giving up. We provide scholarships so kids can do the sports they want to!

At Alec Flores Youth Sports Scholarship Corporation, we are dedicated to youth experiencing the joy of sports. If you need financial assistance to participate in a sport - complete the online application. Athletes in Sutter, Yuba, Colusa Counties, and the City of Gridley in Butte County are eligible to apply. (Athletes participating in organizations in Gridley, and residents of Gridley.)
If you want to participate in sports with one of our partner organizations, no need to submit an application here, contact these organizations directly and let them know you are interested in an AFYSSC Scholarship.
